Yew Tree Farm is a Grade-II Listed Cotswold house in Thrupp, near Stroud. The design adds an eye catching barrel vaulted extension to the property, creating a new dining space which opens to the garden. An oak frame design, together with natural zinc provides a complementary material palette to the natural stone of the historic Cotswold house.

Simple carefully crafted details create a contemporary yet sympathetic addition to the house, including hidden inset gutters and elegant oak framed windows and doors. The new kitchen dining space is filled with natural light, providing views across the garden which rises above the property. The oak frame will silver and the natural zinc will weather to a dark grey, creating a timeless elegance and a sensitive balance between old and new.
