Borough Farm is located in King Stanley, near Stroud, and includes a single storey extension to the Grade-II Listed traditional Cotswold farmhouse. The design combines the use of dark natural slate, Cotswold stone and natural zinc to provide a sensitive addition to the original historic house. The design was carefully developed in collaboration with the Conservation Officer at Stroud District Council to be respectful of the agricultural heritage and its traditional appearance.

The new pitched roof extension is joined to the house by a glazed link, creating a sympathetic balance between old and new. Sliding glass doors open the rear of the house to its picturesque garden and outdoor seating area. This creates a natural flow between the kitchen dining space and the garden, and a focal point within the property filled with natural daylight.
